Cancellation Policy

About the operator: MyAppointee is a Micro / Small Enterprise (MSME) operating the MyAppointee booking platform with corporate office at Gurugram, Haryana, India. References to "we", "us", or "MyAppointee" in this document mean MyAppointee as the operator of the Service.
1. Cancellations by Users
The free-cancellation window is admin-tunable. The default is 6 hours before slot start; the live value is shown in the cancel sheet before you confirm.

To cancel, open the booking screen and tap "Cancel booking". The cancel sheet shows the exact refund amount + the policy outcome before you confirm. Refunds apply to the booking fee only — tips, add-on charges, GST, and any other extras are not refundable.
2. Cancellations by Providers
If a Provider cancels your booking — at any time, for any reason, including the provider failing to accept your booking within the configured accept window — you receive a full booking-fee refund to your MyAppointee wallet. No commissions are earned by anyone in that scenario. Providers who cancel repeatedly or close to slot start risk suspension under our enforcement ladder.
3. Booking failed to start (queue aged out)
If your booking remained in the queue all day without being promoted to an active slot, the booking is auto-cancelled at end of day. No service was attempted on either side, so no commission is earned. The booking fee is not refunded — staying in queue all day is treated as a no-show on the user's part.
4. Payment timeout
If you start a booking but don't complete the payment within 5 minutes (admin-tunable), the booking is auto-cancelled. Nothing is captured, so no refund is needed.
5. Reschedules
Each booking can be rescheduled within the limits set by the platform's reschedule policy (admin-tunable). Late reschedules may incur a fee, which is displayed in the reschedule sheet before you confirm.
6. Force majeure
If a booking cannot be delivered due to circumstances outside reasonable control (declared lockdowns, natural disasters, network outages), MyAppointee will refund the booking fee in full and (where possible) reschedule the service.
7. Subscription cancellations
Subscriptions (MyAppointee+, provider Pro/Premium) can be cancelled at any time from Profile → Subscription. Benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period; no pro-rated refund.
