MyAppointee started with a simple frustration: local services in India work over phone calls, friend recommendations, and luck. The existing apps are either expensive (cutting 30% off the provider's price) or thin (only one vertical). Customers in Tier-2 + Tier-3 cities — where the demand is real — get the worst of both.
So we're building the booking app the way it should work: a flat fee that doesn't penalise providers, transparent pricing customers can verify, instant wallet refunds when things go wrong, and verification rigorous enough that the provider list is actually worth trusting.
DPDP-first
We were built with India's DPDP Act baked in from day one — not retrofitted later.
Fair-fee model
Flat per-booking fee, never a percentage. Customers know what they pay; providers keep their service price.
India-only, for now
We're focused on Tier-2 + Tier-3 cities where there's the most need + the least competition.
What we're building toward
- Coverage: live across India; expanding city-by-city with verified providers, not vapor coverage.
- iOS: Android + PWA today; iOS is in development.
- Languages: English + Hindi today; regional language support next.
- Verticals: 5 today (doctors, salons, home, food, others). New ones added as demand justifies a separate search experience.
